Hawk Golfers Eighth After Round Two of Atlantic 10 Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team enter Sunday's final round of the 31st Annual Atlantic 10 Championship in eighth place at the Mission Inn Resort. The Hawks carded a score of 322 today at the par-71 course and has a score of 308-322/630 after the opening two rounds.

Individually, senior Steve Hudacek and junior Bill Macknis are tied for 23rd after posting scores of 72-83/155 and 77-78/155, respectively. Freshman Jimmy Bea is tied at 31st with a score of 77-81/158, while sophomore Josh Webb is tied for 40th with a score of 82-80/162. Junior Zach Smith rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 82-83/165.

Three-time A-10 champions Charlotte (572) is 16 strokes ahead of second-place Xavier (588). Charlotte's Corey Nagy holds the individual lead with a two-under-par 140.

The final round begins at 8 a.m. Sunday.
