Hawk Golfers Place 16th at Lacrosse Homes Invitational

Grasonville, MD - The Saint Joseph's golf team jumped on place in Sunday's final round of the Lacrosse Homes Invitational at the Prospect Bay Country Club (par-72). The Hawks posted a two-round score of 316-302/618 to finish 16th. St. John's won the team title with a score of 293-287/580. Individually, senior golfer Phil Arouca led the Hawks, earning a tie for 34th place. Arouca carded a two-under-par 70 in Sunday's final round and finished with a score of 82-70/152. Junior Garrett Basalyga finished a stroke behind Arouca with a score of 76-77/153 to tie for 41st place. Senior Chris Reedman shot 80-76/156, while junior Colin Corrigan finished with a score of 80-79/159. Sophomore Steve Hudacek rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 80-82/162. St. John's Keegan Bradley earned medalist honors with a score of 72-70/142. Saint Joseph's returns to action April 14-15 at the Princeton Invitational.
