Zach Smith paces Hawks with round of 77

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Saint Joseph's golf team enters Tuesday's final round of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate in 22nd place after posting a score of 318 in Monday's opening round at the par-71, 6,831 course.

Individually, junior Zach Smith paced the Hawks with a score of 77, while Bill Macknis and Jim Ridgway each posted scores of 79. Josh Webb carded a round of 83, while Jimmy Bea shot 84 to round out the Hawks' five-man squad.

Final round play begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday with Liberty University teeing off last after posting a score of 284 today.
