Golf Team Places Eighth At William And Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Saint Joseph's University men's golf team finished in a tie for eighth place at the William and Mary Invitational, played at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (par 72).

After posting an opening-round 303, the Hawks shot a 321 in the final round to finish with a two-round total of 624. Saint Joseph's finished 22 strokes behind first place William and Mary (602).

Individually, junior Billy Stewart finished in a tie for 10th with a two-round total of 73-78/151. Freshman Collin Corrigan (St. Louis, MO/Desmet Jesuit) finished a stroke behind Stewart, shooting 74-78/152 to finish in a tie for 13th place.

Junior Sean Seese finished third on SJU with a score of 79-81/160, while sophomore Chris Reedman shot a 77-84/161. . Freshman Ryan Barnett rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 79-85/164.

The Hawks will return to action April 2-3 at the Drew Upton Classic in Towson, Maryland.
