2004 Saint Joseph's graduate Tom Spano is in his third season on head coach Bob Lynch's staff as a graduate assistant. Spano was a member of the golf team at Saint Joseph's during his time on Hawk Hill, playing in 23 rounds over the course of his final two years in the Crimson and Gray. His best tournament finish as a Hawk was a tie for 14th at the 2002 Big 5 Classic. He also carded a 69 in the final round of the James Madison Invitational the same season. That score tied him for the second lowest round by a Hawk that season.

A 2000 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Spano hails from Spring City, PA.
