PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team received 26 votes in the Associated Press Preseason Top 25, which was voted on by the media and announced on October 26.

The Hawks had earned two votes in the USA Today Preseason Coaches Poll.

Saint Joseph's returns its entire squad from last year, when it went 20-14. The Hawks were picked to finish first in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll.

SJU opens the regular season on November 12 by hosting Yale in a Coaches vs. Cancer Classic game at Hagan Arena.
