GODUSKY NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT SECOND TEAM

PHILADELPHIA, PA (05/09/02) - For the second consecutive year, Saint Joseph's University baseball standout Justin Godusky has been honored as a Second Team Academic All-District selection by VERIZON/CoSIDA. Godusky was named to the Academic All-America third team in 2000. The only player to start every game for SJU each of the last three seasons, Godusky holds a 3.49 GPA in Marketing. The 5-11 senior has started in a school record 172 consecutive games and earlier this year became just the ninth player in school history to record 200 hits. This year he leads the team with a .351 average, 8 home runs and 40 RBI. He is a member of the University's marketing society and has been named to the Dean's list, as well as being named to both the Athletic Director's and Commissioner's Honor Rolls every semester.
