The Saint Joseph's Cheerleading Teams offer a physically challenging program with a wide range of opportunity for the student body. The program consists of cheer teams with Co-ed and All-Girl positions available. We provide rigorous training and conditioning for all levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced. Our main purpose is to promote school spirit within the student body and Alumni at Men's and Women's Basketball Games. We travel with the teams to home and most away games, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the NCAA Tournament. SJU Cheer has competed at UCA and NCA National Collegiate Cheerleading Championships for the past 10 years. The team plans to travel to compete in the NCA National Cheerleaders Association Collegiate National Cheerleading Championships, April 2010. Competition Team selections take place at the Spring Tryouts.

Attire: Please come prepared to practice with the team
