LIFE SKILLS

The Office of Academic Services for Student-Athletes is aware of the challenges today's student-athletes face both on and off the playing field. To prepare student-athletes for the challenges of life beyond the playing field, The Office of Academic Services for Student-Athletes organizes and facilitates a "Life Skills Program."

The Life Skills Program is designed to provide student-athletes with educational experiences that will assist them in bridging the gap from high school to college and from college to professional life. The program is designed to reach each student-athlete based on his or her individual needs. The Life Skills Program focuses on the individual as a whole - academically, athletically, and emotionally - and on the changing needs and skills of that individual in the years during and after college.
