PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's starter 
Taylor Trowbridge tossed five scoreless innings, and second baseman 
Sarah Cancila went 3-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored as the Hawks' softball team blanked Penn, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Penn Park.
How It Happened
• Cancila made it 1-0 in the top of the first as she scored on a fielding error by Penn off a ball hit by 
Jessica Gaughan.
• A sacrifice fly by 
Madison Fife scored 
Kaelin Cash to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead later in the first.
• A two-run double by Cancila extended St. Joe's lead to 4-0 in the fifth.
• Cancila scored on a RBI groundout by Cash to give the Hawks a 5-0 advantage.
• 
Kayla Tauber singled home 
Hailey Malito to push Saint Joseph's ahead 6-0 in the sixth inning.
• Cancila added an insurance run for the Hawks in the top of the seventh as she scored from third on a double steal to make it 7-0.

• Trowbridge improved to 4-5 on the season as she scattered three hits, while striking out four over five innings.

Saige Stutz tossed two scoreless innings of relief.
• Of her three hits, Cancila collected a pair of doubles, while adding a stolen base.
