Tickets Are Now Sold Out for 2009 NCAA Men's First and Second Rounds at Wachovia Center

PHILADELPHIA - Tickets to the 2009 NCAA First and Second Round games at Wachovia Center on Thursday, March 19, and Saturday, March 21, are sold out, according to Saint Joseph's University, host institution, and Global Spectrum, operators of Wachovia Center.

Applicants who applied for tickets will be notified by Sunday, June 15, if they will receive tickets. Applicants who are not selected to receive tickets will receive a full refund less the applicable service fee ($10 per ticket). All refunds will be made electronically. Tickets will be mailed to successful applicants no later than mid February 2009.

Tickets were sold as all session passes for the three sessions, which includes all six games. There will be no other sale of tickets for this event. A maximum of eight (8) ticket packages were available per person.

Pairings for the 2009 NCAA Tournament will be announced on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. EST. Game times will be announced the Monday before competition. Tickets may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

The Wachovia Center has previously hosted the 2000 NCAA Women,s Final Four; the 2001 NCAA Men's East Regionals; and the 2006 NCAA Men's First and Second Round games.

Unless specifically authorized by the NCAA, tickets may not be offered in a commercial promotion or as a prize in a sweepstakes or contest. Tickets may not be sold above face value.

Official NCAA-sanctioned ticket and hospitality packages are also available by visiting www.ncaa.com/hospitality or calling 800-591-9198. Hospitality packages include pregame and in-game hospitality. The NCAA reminds fans that purchasing tickets from secondary unauthorized vendors may result in fraudulent purchases. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets from NCAA member institutions and companies authorized by the NCAA to sell or resell championship tickets.
