WE WILL BE BACK BIGGER AND BETTER IN MARCH, 2010!

Due to ongoing construction at Saint Joseph's University Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse, the Hawk Classic Cheerleading Competitions will not be held in 2009. The Fieldhouse Expansion and Renovation Project is now underway. Please check back in 2010 for the latest information for the 17th Annual Hawk Classic Cheerleading Competition, we will be back bigger and better in March, 2010 with an exciting competition between the most qualified squads in the tri-state area.

We would like to send a special thank you to all of our loyal competitors and their coaches that have supported the Hawk Classic for the past 16 years. The Hawks will miss you this season and extend our best wishes to your teams for a successful season on the sidelines and on the competition floor.

UPDATE- The Fieldhouse Expansion and Renovation project continues to take shape and you can view the new photo gallery updating the progress on the Hawk Site. The bricklaying and steelwork on the expansion portion closest to 54th and Overbrook began on October 1. The northeastern wall which used to house the student section has been demolished while the Expansion, the future home to SJU's basketball programs, has its wall erected during late July and early August, while other work inside and out has continued.
