April 3, 2008 Demolition work started on January 9, 2008 and work on the Fieldhouse renovation continues. Below are two galleries from January 9 and 10 where construction crews started the very beginning of the expansion and renovation project. In March, builders started laying the foundation to the expansion of the new basketball facility that will be adjacent to the Fieldhouse. That project is well along as construction work to take down the stair tower on the east side of the Fieldhouse will begin the week of April 7. Below are photo galleries from the beginning of construction in January to the current state in April.
