SJU Tennis Complex at the Maguire Campus

Beginning in the fall of 2009, Saint Joseph's tennis program will move to the SJU Tennis Complex at the Maguire Campus. The Tennis Complex, which underwent renovations during the spring and summer, adds six new courts as well as new offices and locker rooms for both the women's and men's tennis teams.

The long-time home of the Episcopal Academy, the 38-acre James J. Maguire Campus adds 52 classrooms, eight full laboratories, 113 offices, and 14.5 acres of sports fields to Saint Joseph's University's current 65-acre footprint. Under head coach Ian Crookenden, Saint Joseph's has mapped out a plan to extend the program's reach on campus, regionally and nationally, starting with the Hawks' new home.

Saint Joseph's previous courts, Finnesey Courts, will still be used by the team for practices and will also be available for student use.

From the North: NJ Turnpike to Exit 6 (PA Turnpike connector). Follow PA Turnpike to Exit 20 (Rt. 476). Follow 476 South to Rt. 76 East, towards Philadelphia. Follow Rt. 76 East to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn right on Old Lancaster Rd./54th Street and turn left onto North Latches Lane (fourth street). Continue down the road (past The Barnes Foundation) and turn use the next entrance on the left for Saint Joseph's University. Courts will be on your right hand side.

From the East: Take either the Ben Franklin Bridge (via Rt. 676) or the Walt Whitman Bridge: Follow Rt. 76 West to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn right on Old Lancaster Rd./54th Street and turn left onto North Latches Lane (fourth street). Continue down the road (past The Barnes Foundation) and turn use the next entrance on the left for Saint Joseph's University. Courts will be on your right hand side.

From the South: I-95 North to 476 North. Follow 476 North to Exit 5 (Rt. 1). Follow Rt. 1 North to SJU, approximately 10 miles. Turn left on Old Lancaster Rd./54th Street and turn left onto North Latches Lane (fourth street). Continue down the road (past The Barnes Foundation) and turn use the next entrance on the left for Saint Joseph's University. Courts will be on your right hand side.

From the West: PA Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Follow Rt. 76 East, towards Philadelphia, to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn right on Old Lancaster Rd./54th Street and turn left onto North Latches Lane (fourth street).
