MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Saint Joseph's golf team shot 298 in Tuesday's final round of the Bash at the Beach to finish in eighth place in the 13-team field.

Playing at the par-71 Surf Golf and Beach Club (6,741 yards), the Hawks posted a three-round score of 298-291-298/887 as Jacksonville State captured the team title with a score of 850.

Individually, Wills Montgomery finished in eighth place at one-under-par 74-67-71/212 with Michael O'Brien shooting two-under-par 69 on Tuesday to finish tied for 14th with a score of 75-74-69/215. J.T. Spina tied for 37th at 73-74-77/224, while Ross Pilliod and Richard Riva tied for 78th with scores of 76-80-83/239 and 79-79-81/239, respectively.

Incarnate Word's John Hill, George Washington's Logan Lowe and Louisville's Simon Zach tied for medalist honors at 208.

Saint Joseph's returns to action March 24 at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate.
