WESTON, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team topped George Mason, 4-2, on the final day of the Atlantic 10 Match Play event on Tuesday. Playing six singles matches, the Hawks posted four individual wins to down the Patriots for seventh place at the Weston Hills County Club.

Continuing his run of strong play from Monday, junior Richard Riva downed Florian Blatti, 4 and 3, for his third outright victory of the event. Senior Ross Pilliod picked up a point for the Hawks as he bested Jeff Wilson, 3 and 2, while junior Michael O'Brien earned a 4 and 3 win over Connor Messick. Freshman J.T. Spina helped solidify the team victory with a 2 up victory over William Christian.

The Hawks return to action March 11-12 at the Bash at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
