POWELLS POINT, N.C. - The Saint Joseph's junior Ross Pilliod and sophomore Michael O'Brien are at even par and tied for 21st place after the opening two rounds of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. As a team, the Hawks are in 12th place in the 18-team field.

Playing at the par-71 Kilmarlic Golf Club (6,502 yards), the Hawk shot 292 on Monday for a two-round score of 288-292/580.

Individually, Pilliod has posted a two-round score of 70-72/142, while O'Brien has posted rounds of 69-73/142. Sophomore Reed Winkler is tied for 44th at 73-73/146, while freshman Wills Montgomery is tied for 67th at 74-76/150. Junior Chuck Briggs rounded out the five-man squad with scores of 78-82/160 and is in 93rd place.

Campbell holds the team lead by 18 strokes at 540, while the Camels' Ray Kraivixien holds a one-stroke lead at 133.

The final round begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
