BEALLSVILLE, Md. - The Saint Joseph's golf team is in eighth place and Michael O'Brien and Ross Pilliod are tied for 13th individually after the first round of the 33rd Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate on Monday.

Playing at the par-71 Members Club at Four Streams (6,950 yards), the Hawks posted a score of 307 in the 11-team field.

O'Brien and Pilliod paced SJU with scores of 75, while Tommy Lewis finished the day at 78 and is tied for 29th. Wills Montgomery and Richard Riva rounded out the five-man squad as each shot 79 and are tied for 35th.

Navy holds the team lead by three strokes at 295, while Rutgers' Christopher Gotterup leads all players following a one-under-par 70 on Monday.

The final round of the 33rd Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
