GILBERT, Ariz. – The Saint Joseph’s field hockey team came in at number 15 in this week’s Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Hawks fell in overtime at then-number 23 Syracuse on Friday night, 2-1, before topping Cornell, 4-2, on Sunday.  The Orange jumped to 19th in this week’s poll after a pair of wins.

This week, Saint Joseph’s will host #10 Delaware; the Blue Hens slipped one spot in the rankings despite an unbeaten weekend.

Three more future Hawk opponents are in the rankings this week, as Boston College and Michigan moved up two spots to #17 and #9, respectively, while North Carolina held steady in the top spot, garnering 45 of a possible 52 first-place votes.

The matchup between Saint Joseph’s and Delaware is set for 3:30 p.m. on Friday at Ellen Ryan Field.
