PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team returns to action this week with matchups versus James Madison and Pitt. The Hawks open play on Thursday as they host the Dukes at 7 p.m., then travel to the Panthers for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday.

ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S (2-1-1)
• Saint Joseph's is coming off a 1-1-0 week in which it lost to Princeton, 1-0, on Friday, but bounced back for a 1-0 victory over Stony Brook on Sunday.
• Junior Morgan Bower scored the game-winning goal versus the Sea Wolves, while freshman Emily Cuccio made three saves in her first collegiate victory.
• Cuccio was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday.
• Saint Joseph's was ranked seventh this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll. 

ABOUT JAMES MADISON (1-3-0)
• James Madison enters Thursday looking to snap a two-game losing skid after dropping matches to Seattle, 3-2 in overtime, and #23 Washington State, 6-3.
• Ginger Deel, Iris Rabot and Haley Crawford are tied for the team lead in points with five apiece.
• In goal, Hannah McShea is 1-3-0 with a 3.17 goals-against average and has made nine saves on the year.

ABOUT PITT (2-2-0)
• The Panthers enter the week with a 2-2-0 record and host Rhode Island on Friday.
• Pitt opened the season with a pair of wins, but dropped its next matches to Dartmouth and Massachusetts.
• Amanda West is currently tied for third in the nation in goals (six) and ranks sixth in points (13).
• Amaia Pena is 2-1-0 in goal for the Panthers with a 1.92 goals-against-average, while teammate Katherine Robinson is 0-1-0 with a 2.00 goals-against-average.
