WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Saint Joseph's golf team placed 11th and senior Ross Pilliod finished in a tie for 16th at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.

Playing at the par-71 Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (6,817 yards), the Hawks shot 313 on Tuesday to finish with a three-round score of 309-292-213/914 to place 11th in the 21-team field.

Posting a round of 74 on the day, Pilliod was steady throughout the tournament for SJU as he finished with a score of 74-74-74/222. Wills Montgomery carded a three-round score of 82-73-79/234 to tie for 63rd, while Tommy Lewis tied for 71st at 79-76-81/236. Rookie J.T. Spina finished tied for 80th place at 79-82-79/240, while Michael O'Brien, who entered the day tied for 17th at 77-69/146, was forced to withdraw due to a minor injury.

Campbell captured the team title by 10 strokes at 863, while Camel teammates, Amarin Kraivixien and Max Theodorakis, shared medalist honors with matching scores of 212.

The Hawks return to action at the Princeton Invitational on April 6-7.
