ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team capped its 2017-18 season with a ninth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship.

Playing the final round at the Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort on Sunday, the Hawks carded a score of 308 for a three-round total of 305-313-308/926.

Individually, sophomore Reed Winkler tied for 18th at 77-74-78/229, while junior Ross Pilliod tied for 36th at 75-81-78/234. Sophomore Michael O'Brien carded rounds of 79-80-76/235 to tie for 38th with rookie Wills Montgomery finishing tied for 41st at 74-87-76/237. Junior Chuck Briggs rounded out the five-man squad with a 52nd place finish at 92-78-79/249.

Davidson captured the team title and automatic NCAA Tournament bid by six strokes at 891. The Wildcats' Mike Blasey won medalist honors by two strokes with a score of 218.
