PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's golf team fired a final-round 313 and finished with a two-round score of 623 to finish 20th at the Big 5 Classic. Individually, junior Jimmy Bea led the way, tying for 49th with a score of 76-75/151.

Senior Josh Webb tied for 66th at 154, with Jim Ridgway tying for 80th at 79-78/157. Andrew Jaskel fired rounds of 79-81/161 with Kyle Sargis rounding out the five-man squad at 82-84/166.

Playing as individuals, Tyler Mefford shot 80-81/161 with Kyle Jeziorski posting rounds of 82/79/161.

Furman won the team title by eight strokes over St. John's with a two-round total of 574, with Furman's Matthew Broome winning medalist honors by seven strokes with a final score of 133.

The Hawks return to action October 18 and 19 at the Georgetown Hoya Classic.
