ORLANDO, FL - The Saint Joseph's men's golf team opened posted a two-round score of 303-306/609 to finish in 14th place in the field of 18 at the Mission Inn Classic this past weekend.
Individually, sophomore Zach Smith had his best showing of the season, finishing in a tie for 12th. Smith carded a two-round score of 74-72/146. Junior Steve Hudacek finished tied for 42nd with a score of 74-77/151, while senior Colin Corrigan finished a stroke behind at 76-76/152. Seniors Bob Cunningham and Garret Basalyaga rounded the five-man squad with scores of 79-81/160 and 79-86/165, respectively.
Lipscomb earned the team title by three strokes with a final score of 579, while Limpscomb's Cody Hale and Brent Long tied for first individually at 136.
Saint Joseph's returns to action this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at the Big 5 Classic.
