Hawks Seventh After Opening Day of Atlantic 10 Golf Championship

ORLANDO, FL - The Saint Joseph's golf team is in seventh place after posting a 10-over par 298 in Friday's first round of the Atlantic 10 Golf Championship at the Orange County National Golf Center.

Individually, freshman Josh Webb paced the Hawks, shooting a two-under par 70 Friday to finished tied for sixth place. Saint Joseph's Zach Smith and Colin Corrigan shot 75 and 76, respectively, while Bill Macknis (77) and Steve Hudacek (78) rounded out the five-man squad.

Rhode Island and Charlotte are tied for the team lead after day one, with both squads shooting 10-under par (278).
