Hawk Golfers Poised for Atlantic 10 Championship this Weekend

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's golf team is poised to cap off its season this weekend, May 2-4, at the 30th annual Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship at the Orange County National Golf Course in Winter Garden, Florida.

The Championship tees off on Friday, May 2, at 8 a.m. with the Hawks looking to match or top their best finish of second place in 2003. Saint Joseph's senior Colin Corrigan and junior Steve Hudacek bring previous experience to the club, as both competed for SJU in the 2007 A-10 Championships.

Joining Saint Joseph's in the quest for the conference title are 2007 winner and third-place finisher at the 2007 NCAA Championship Charlotte, Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, La Salle, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, Temple and Xavier.

Tee times for all three rounds of the Championship begin at 8:00am.
