Hawk Golfers Tie For 11th At Wildcat Invitational

MALVERN, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's golf team shot a two-round score of 318-302/620 to finish tied for 11th in the 20-team field at the Wildcat Invitational. Junior Jimmy Bea paced the Hawks' five-man team as he tied for 13th.

With the first round carrying over to Monday due to lack of light at the par-71, 7,009 yard White Manor Country Club, the Hawks capped the two rounds today. Saint Joseph's opened with a 318, but finished strong, shooting 302 in the second round to post a score of 620.

Individually, Bea shot a two-round score of 76-73/149, while senior Josh Webb finished a stroke behind at 75-75/150. Andrew Jaskel carded a two-round score of 83-75/158, with Patrick Devlin shooting 84-79/163. Senior Jim Ridgway rounded out the squad at 84-80/164.

Delaware won the team title at 579, while the Blue Hens' Kevin McLister claimed medalist honor at 139.
