TEAM-BY-TEAM RESULTS MASON, OH (10/14/02) - aking on top competition at the Xavier Invitational, the Saint Joseph's University men's golf team finished the tournament in 17th place overall. The Hawks combined to shoot 916 ( 312, 295, 309) over three rounds of the tournament played at the Kings Island - Grizzly Course. Freshmen Billy Stewart and Sean Seese led the way for SJU. SJU's top two, Seese (76, 70, 79 - 225) was tied for 62nd overall, while Stewart (74, 73, 74 - 221) tied for 39th. Rounding out the five man contingent for St. Joe's were juniors Brian McDermott (86, 73, 80 - 239, T-94th) and Tom Spano (79, 79, 81 - 239 T- 94th), along with senior Mike Bosica (83, 83, 76 - 242, T-98th). Wright State (853, +1) topped the 18 team field by two strokes over Eastern Michigan. The Hawks will compete at the Penn Invitational next weekend.
