GOLF TEAM PLACES 12TH AT PENN STATE

STATE COLLEGE, PA (4/2703) - The Saint Joseph's men's golf team tied for 12th place in the 15 team field at the 27th Annual Rutherford Intercollegiate at the par-72 Penn State Blue Course. The Hawks finished with a total score of 905 (305, 300, 300) for the three-round event. Freshman Billy Stewart was the Hawks top individual finisher. He tied for 32nd place after shooting a 221 (77, 73, 71). Fellow freshman Sean Seese was the Hawks second finisher tying for 53rd with a three round total of 227 (75, 74, 78). Juniors Brian McDermott (T-55th, 77, 78, 73 - 228) and Bill Devlin (T-63rd, 76, 75, 79 - 230) and senior Mike Bosica (77th, 81, 81, 78 - 240) rounded out SJU's five man contingent. The Hawks wrap up the year at the Atlantic 10 Invitational on May 2-4.
