Hawk Golfers Tied for 13th After First Day of Adams Cup

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Saint Joseph's golf team is tied for 13th after the first day of the Adams Cup Monday at Newport National Golf Club (par 72 - 7,244 yards). As a team, the Hawks carded rounds of 314 and 310 for a score of 624.

Individually for SJU, senior Josh Webb shot 79-75/154 and finds himself tied for 34th. Andrew Jaskel stands a shot back at 76-79/155, with Jimmy Bea at 78-78/156. Freshman Kyle Jeziorski posted rounds of 81-78/159, with senior Jim Ridgway rounding out the five-man squad at 83-81/164.

Central Florida holds the team lead at 581, while UCF's Greg Eaton sits atop the individual leaderboard at 143.

The final round begins Tuesday morning.
