Webb Leads Hawk Golfers at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Led by senior Josh Webb, the Saint Joseph's golf team placed 10th at the Princeton Invitational. Webb paced the Hawks with a three-round score of 76-68-72/216 to finish tied for seventh.

As a team, Saint Joseph' shot a 302 in Sunday's final round to finish at 304-301-302/907. Yale won the team title by six strokes, carding a three-round score of 848.

Junior Jimmy Bea tied for 30th, shooting a three-round score of 76-75-74/225, while Andrew Jaskel tied for 45th with a score of 74-78-77/229. Senior Jim Ridgway and Patrick Devlin rounded out the five-man squad, shooting 78-80-79/237 and 80-80-80/240, respectively.

Yale's Sam Bernstein earned medalist honors with a score of 208.

The Hawks return to action at the Navy Spring Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
