CHARDON, OH - The Saint Joseph's golf team shot a 314 in Tuesday's final round of the Cleveland State Invitational, moving up one spot to finish 10th. Playing at the Sand Ridge Golf Club (par-71), the Hawks posted a three-round score of 311-313-314/938.
Individually, senior Colin Corrigan finished in 15th place with a three-round score of 75-73-78/226. Sophomore Zach Smith tied for 34th after carding scores of 77-80-76/233, while junior Steve Hudacek tied for 49th after shooting 78-78-82/238. Freshman Jim Ridgeway carded a 78 in Tuesday's final round for a final score of 81-83-78/242, while senior Garrett Basalyga rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 92-82-87/261.
The University of Cincinnati earned the team title with a score of 885, while South Dakota's Geoff Mead earned medalist honors with a three-round score of 71-72-70/213.
Saint Joseph's returns to action October 5-7 at the St. John's Invitational.
