PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team (1-2) will head to the West Coast for a pair of road games, beginning at the University of California (1-4) this Sunday, March 5. Opening draw at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif. is slated for 3:00 p.m. (ET).

Saint Joseph's enters Sunday's game coming off of a 11-10 loss against Villanova to close a three-game, season-opening homestand this past Wednesday. Graduate student midfielder Mallory Grey recorded a team- and career-high four goals while junior defender Kristen Kelbon added career-highs in ground balls (3) and caused turnovers (3), but a Villanova free position goal with under two minutes to play would make the difference.

Through three games, senior attacker Nora McCallion and sophomore midfielder Rebecca Lane have combined for 32 points on 18 goals and 14 assists to go with 12 ground balls. Junior midfielder Dana Garbinski and sophomore midfielder Hayley Sabol have each recorded five ground balls and six caused turnovers through three starts apiece, while graduate student goalkeeper Liz O'Sullivan (1-1) made 22 stops through the first 120:00; senior Amelia Deibler played the full 60:00 against Villanova in her collegiate lacrosse debut.

Cal is 1-4 entering Sunday's game. The Bears dropped their first two games to Denver, 15-5, and Oregon, 18-9, before picking up a 19-7 win over Butler. Cal then fell to Ohio State, 14-8, before, most recently, losing to Michigan by a final of 14-4 on Friday evening.
