ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph’s caps the regular season this Saturday as it hosts Fordham at noon.
• The Hawks will celebrate Senior Day and honor their seniors - Kristalyn Baisden, Michala Clay, Whisper Fisher, Avery Marz, Alyssa Monaghan, Sarah Veilleux and Ashlyn Wert - in a postgame ceremony.
• Saturday's contest versus the Rams is a Jesuit Basketball Spotlight matchup.
• Saint Joseph's and Fordham are meeting for the 48th time come Saturday, with the host Hawks holding a 38-9 edge.
• The Hawks won both of their matchups over the Rams last season with each game coming down to the final possession.
• Chelsea Woods' layup with a second remaining lifted SJU to a 52-50 win at Rose Hill Gym on February 24, while a three-pointer by Sarah Veilleux with :00.2 left pushed the Hawks to a 52-49 win in the Quarterfinals of the A-10 Championship on March 2.
• As the regular season finishes up on Saturday, Saint Joseph's has already locked itself into an eighth-vs.-ninth matchup versus George Washington on Tuesday.
• A victory by the Hawks or a loss by the Colonials on Saturday solidifies the eighth seed and hosting duties for SJU as it holds a tie-breaker after winning the regular season matchup.
• A loss by Saint Joseph's on Saturday, coupled with a win by George Washington, would set the Colonials up as the higher seed.
• Saint Joseph's is coming off a 68-59 loss at George Mason on Wednesday.
• Senior Alyssa Monaghan led all players with a game-high 18 points against the Patriots.
