MERION STATION, Pa. – Fresh off an 11-1 win over Lafayette on Tuesday, the Saint Joseph's baseball team will host George Mason in an Atlantic 10 series beginning on Friday.

First pitch on Friday is set for 3:00 p.m.  Saturday is a 2:00 p.m. start, while Sunday's finale is slated for 1:00 p.m.

• Last time out, Saint Joseph's (7-14 overall, 1-2 Atlantic 10) thumped Lafayette, 11-1, on Tuesday afternoon.  Dominic Cuoci, Matt Cuppari, and Matt Maul each had three hits on the day.

• The win marked the 200th victory in the career of head coach Fritz Hamburg.  He is the first Saint Joseph's baseball coach to reach that milestone.

Deon Stafford, Jr., leads the Hawks in batting average (.321) and on-base percentage (.525).  He is tied for the league lead with 21 walks and ranks second in OBP.

• Cuoci is the Atlantic 10 leader in slugging percentage, checking in with a .662 mark.  His seven home runs are second in the conference; he has hit one in each of his last four games.

• Cuoci also ranks among the league leaders with a team-high 22 runs batted in.

Cal Jadacki is tied for the lead lead in hits with Cuoci at 23, while his 16 runs scored and six doubles are team highs.

Lucas Rollins is the Hawks' earned run average leader, checking in with a 3.64 mark in 29.2 innings pitched.  Tim Brennan's 32 strikeouts are a team best, while he and Pat Vanderslice have each notched a pair of wins on the season.

• George Mason (11-18 overall, 2-1 Atlantic 10) ended a three-game skid with a 7-6 win at James Madison on Wednesday.  Brady Acker and Greg Popatak homered for the Patriots in the win.

• Trevor Kelly leads the GMU regulars with a .286 batting average in 24 games.  Tyler Nelin is the Patriots' leading power threat with a team-high six home runs and a .523 slugging percentage, while Michael Smith has posted a .420 on-base percentage on the season.

• Nelin's 22 RBI lead the team, while Logan Driscoll (19) and Kelly (18) are close behind.

• Brian Marconi is George Mason's leader in victories with three, while Tyler Zombro's 2.23 ERA is best among the starting rotation.  He and Zach Mort share the team lead in strikeouts with 32.

• Tyler Kardas has posted a sparkling 0.69 ERA in eight appearances, all out of the bullpen.
