CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to Queens University, 5-2, Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks opened the match capturing the first point with wins at the first and third flights. Claire Minnoe and Alex Zachem were 8-6 winners ay the first flight, while Sarah Contrata and Katherine Devlin teamed for an 8-4 win at the third flight.

Moving to singles play, Contrata was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Isabel Fornies at the sixth flight. However, Queens captured the other singles matches to earn the team win.

The Hawks (3-4) are back in action on Sunday versus Davidson.
