PHILADELPHIA – Under the direction of third-year head coach Melody O'Relly, the Saint Joseph's women's track and field team is set to compete at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. The two-day meet will be held at George Mason Stadium from Saturday, May 5 through Sunday, May 6 in Amherst, Mass.

The Hawks earned 61.5 points to place seventh at last season's A-10 outdoor meet, which was the program's best finish at the league's outdoor championship meet since 2004; now-junior sprinter Nathaniela Bourdeau won both the 100m and 200m gold medals to earn the A-10's Most Outstanding Track Performer recognition at last year's meet Saint Joseph's last five performances include seventh (2017), back-to-back ninth-place finishes (2016, 2015), an 11th-place finish (2014), and a 13th-place finish (2013). SJU's highest program finish at outdoor A-10s is third, in 2001.
