PHILADELPHIA – Under the direction of second-year head coach Melody O’Reilly, the Saint Joseph’s women’s track and field team is set to compete at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Track and Field Indoor Championships this weekend. The two-day meet will be held at George Mason’s Field House on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19 in Fairfax, Va.
Live results will be available via Flash Results.
Senior Courtney Foster is the only Hawk to have raced at the George Mason Field House, doing so at the Last Chance Meet on March 2, 2014 as the leadoff leg of the 4x400m relay.
The Hawks earned 49 points to place seventh at last season’s A-10 indoor meet, the program’s best indoor finish since 2006. Saint Joseph’s last five performances include a sixth-place finish (2016), eighth-place finish (2015), 11th-place finish (2014), 14th-place (2013), and 12th-place finish (2012); Saint Joseph’s has matched its program-best finish three times with third-place finishes in 1993, 2004, and, most recently, 2006.
