ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Saint Joseph's men's soccer squad dropped a 2-0 contest at Saint Louis in the Hawks' season finale at Hermann Stadium on Wednesday evening. With the loss, SJU closes its season at 3-11-4 (1-6-1 A-10) while the Billikens improve to 7-8-1 (4-4-0 A-10) and will advance to the Atlantic 10 postseason.

Saint Louis scored in the 38th and 57th minutes of play.

Senior goalkeeper Trevor Nicol (0-1-1, 0-1-0 A-10) got the starting nod and made a single-game, career-high three saves in the first 45:00, including back-to-back stops within a four-second span in the fifth minute. Senior goalkeeper Greg O'Connell made two saves in the final 45:00.

The Billikens outshot the Hawks 17-1, as senior midfielder Matt Crawford took SJU's lone shot of the match in the 54th minute, which was blocked.

Crawford took 57 shots this season, which ranks ninth in SJU's single-season program history... With two saves in Wednesday's match, O'Connell leaves Hawk Hill with 150 saves (through just 35 career matches), which ranks eighth in SJU's program history... O'Connell also ranks ninth in career shutouts (7).
