For the second consecutive week, the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has earned regional recognition as the Hawks jumped to seventh place in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll, organization officials announced on Tuesday.

Ranked 10th in last week's USC East Region Poll, Saint Joseph's went 1-0-1 last week to improve to 3-0-1 on the year.

Backed by a goal from Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Mackenzie Ehresman, the Hawks played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Rutgers on Thursday and followed with a 2-1 victory at James Madison due in part to a goal and assist from A-10 Offensive Player of the Week Taylor Ryan.

The Hawks are one of four Atlantic 10 teams to earn regional recognition this week as they join La Salle (fourth), Dayton (sixth) and George Washington (ninth).

Saint Joseph's returns to action on Friday at Princeton at 7 p.m. The Tigers enter the week ranked 20th nationally and third in the East.
