NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Saint Joseph's sophomore forward Gabrielle Vagnozzi has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team, while freshman forward Morgan Bower was selected to the All-Rookie Team, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

Leading the Hawks in points (17) and tied for the team lead in goals (seven), Vagnozzi has established herself as one of the top offensive players in the conference during her first two seasons on Hawk Hill. Named the A-10 Rookie of the Year in 2016,  the starting forward is already tied for fourth all-time in assists (14) and ranks 11th in points (34). The 31st SJU player to garner A-10 All-Conference accolades, Vagnozzi currently is tied for eighth in the A-10 in goals and tied for 10th in points.

Appearing in all 19 games, with eight starts, Bower has helped pace the SJU attack as she enters the week tied for the team lead in goals (seven) and is second in points (16). Named A-10 Rookie of the Week twice during the regular season, she is currently tied for eighth in the A-10 in goals and tied for 12th in points. Bower, who is also tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (two), is the 14th Hawk to earn A-10 All-Rookie Team honors. 

A-10 awards are selected by a vote of the women's soccer coaches at each of the 14 member institutions, while the A-10 All-Academic Team is selected by sports information directors from the 14 member institutions.

The seventh seeded Hawks (11-5-3) continue A-10 postseason play this Friday with a semifinal matchup versus sixth seed VCU at 4:30 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Virginia.
