GILBERT, Ariz. – The Saint Joseph’s field hockey team held on to the 21st spot in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coaches Poll for the fourth consecutive week, it was announced on Tuesday.

The Hawks are ranked for the fifth consecutive poll after beating UC Davis, 2-1, on Friday and routing Saint Francis (Pa.), 8-0, on Saturday.  Junior forward Anna Willocks netted seven points across the two games to earn Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors, while freshman forwards Jordan Olenginski (two goals) and Emily Henry (one goal, two assists) added four points apiece.

Three previous Hawk opponents are ranked this week, as Maryland and James Madison held on at numbers 16 and 17, respectively, and Rutgers moved up two spots to 18th.

Delaware came in at number eight; the Blue Hens will visit Ellen Ryan Field this Saturday in one of 12 matchups between ranked teams set for this weekend.  Atlantic 10 rival Massachusetts broke into the poll at number 24; the Hawks will visit the Minutewomen on October 20.

Prior to the game with the Blue Hens, Saint Joseph’s visits La Salle this Friday.  Game time is set for 3:00 p.m.
