HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Sophomore Ross Pilliod tied for 39th to lead the Saint Joseph's golf team at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular.

Playing at the Mission Inn Golf Resort - El Campeon Course (par 72, 6,966 yards), the Hawks shot 315-312-323/950 to finish 15th in the 17-team field.

Individually, Pilliod shot 74-77-79/230 to lead SJU. Rookie Michael O'Brien placed 72nd at 81-78-80/239, while senior Drew Taylor finished tied for 73rd a stroke behind O'Brien at 82-79-79/240. Junior Tyler Sokolis tied for 86th with a score of 81-78-85/244 and freshman Richard Riva rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 79-85-86/250 to place 91st.

TCU won the team title by 11 strokes at 875, while Ohio's Peyton White earned medalist honors with a score of 215 (+1).

Saint Joseph's returns to action at the Villanova Invitational on March 27-28.
