Hawk Golfers Tied for 15th After C&F Bank Invitational First Round

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Saint Joseph's golf team is tied for 15th in the field of 24 teams after the opening round of the C&F Bank Invitational Monday afternoon at the Kingsmill Resort (6,659 yards, Par 72). Individually, Jimmy Bea is tied for 22nd after shooting one-over-par 73.

As a team, the Hawks carded an opening-round 305 to tie with Canisius, Georgetown, and Maryland at 15th place. James Madison leads all team after shooting 281 in the first round.

Andrew Jaskel posted a score of 76 and was followed by Josh Webb (77), Pat Devlin (79) and Jim Ridgway (92). James Madison's Chris Welde leads all golfers after posting a five-under-par 67.

The final round begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
