NORMAN, Okla. — The Saint Joseph's golf team has been recognized as a Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team, organization officials announced this week.

As a team, the Hawks posted a 3.11 grade point average and were one of 193 programs to earn GCAA accolades this year. This past season, Saint Joseph's posted its best finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship since 2003 as it placed fourth in the 11-team field, and captured the team title at the Columbia Invitational.

To be eligible for GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year.
