The Saint Joseph’s men’s rowing team will return to action on Saturday, April 20 at the Kerr Cup Regatta on the Schuylkill River. The Hawks’ heats begin at 11 a.m.
“While it has only been two weeks since our first race, it feels like it was a month ago. After a harder week of training last week, we are eager to get back to the starting line to find out more about our team speed,” said coach Mike Irwin. “We need to build our race experience in order to be ready for the Dad Vails. There is another strong field entered in the Kerr Cup this year and it is going to be fun to finally get in some six-lane racing.”
The Hawks will enter three eights and one four in the Kerr Cup. Heats for the Varsity 4 begin at 11:06 a.m., followed by the 2nd Varsity 8 and the 1st Varsity 8. The Finals for the 3rd Varsity 8 begin at 1:38 p.m.
