The Saint Joseph's women's soccer has team earned United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll recognition in the organization's final regular season poll as the Hawks were ranked seventh this week, organization officials announced on Tuesday.
Appearing in all 12 weekly regional polls, Saint Joseph's capped the year with a 14-5-2 and finished with the second-most wins in a season in program history. Advancing to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship for the third straight year, the Hawks' season came to a close on Friday in a 2-1 loss to VCU.
The Hawks are one of four Atlantic 10 teams to earn regional recognition this week as they join Saint Louis (third), VCU (sixth) and George Mason (10th) .
