PRINCETON, N.J. - The Saint Joseph’s golf team jumped three spots to tie for eighth at the Princeton Invitational. As a team, the Hawks shot 284 on Saturday to finish with a two-round score of 304-284/588.
Individually, Wills Montgomery paced SJU tying for 11th (73-70/143) with Ross Pilliod and Michael O'Brien finishing tied for 23rd with scores of 76-70/146 and 74-72/146, respectively. Reed Winkler and Chuck Briggs rounded out the five-man squad with the pair tying for 59th place with scores of 84-72/156 and 81-75/156, respectively.
Yale captured the team title by three strokes with a score of 570, while Cornell's Mike Graboyes captured medalist honors with a score of 136.
