The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team is on a trip of a lifetime, as the Hawks traveled to England to participate in the Henley Women's Regatta for the third time overall, and the first time since 2010. The competition takes place from June 16-18.

The Hawks will be entering boats in the Women's Eight and Women's Double.

The Hawks are currently training at Putney in London, which is the site of the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race. The Vesta Rowing Club is serving as the host for the Hawks.

On Monday, June 11, SJU will head to Henley on Thames to undergo their final preparation for the race.

SJU's crew that made the trip is: Katherine Robb, Maria Biancanicello, Cailin McCully, Caroline Strauss, Brianna Stone, Kiernan Loue, Isabella Haleski, Allie Howell, Jennifer Raphelson, Reece Long and Gabby Argo.

The Double will have a time trial on Friday while the Eight will race on Saturday.

"We're extremely thankful to the athletic department, alumni, parents and friends for making this special opportunity possible," said coach Gerry Quinlan.

Saint Joseph's also competed at Henley in 2006.
