MERCER COUNTY, N.J. - The Saint Joseph’s women’s rowing team had a strong showing at the Small Boat Challenge with three top-three finishes this weekend.

How It Happened
• The Hawks opened their 2019-20 season with big improvements between their races as SJU won the pairs' event and had third-place finishes in both pairs and doubles races.
• Hannah Howard and Grace McKeon captured the Hawks' first-ever title in pairs at the Small Boat Challenge, while Isabella Haleski and Shane Devine finished in third place.
• In the doubles' event, Teresa Crosby and Olivia Clark placed third overall.
• This weekend's event consisted of 2x2000m races, with the combined lowest time declared the winner of each event.

Up Next
The Hawks return to the water next Saturday, October 12, at the Navy Day Regatta.
